Free Google Ads audit

A free Google Ads audit that reads the whole account.

Most free audits are a screenshot of your account summary with a sales call attached. This one connects read-only, reads ninety days at keyword and search-term grain, and returns the findings we would work from ourselves — including the ones that suggest you do not need an agency.

Read-only access. Revocable any time. No card, no call.

See what the AI finds

Connect Google Ads and the engine reads 90 days of your data. Your report lands in your inbox, usually within minutes.

— Which account?
  • Wasted search spend & brand/non-brand split
  • Quality Score, negatives & keyword coverage
  • Conversion tracking & attribution health
  • Read-only Google access
  • No billing access, ever
  • Auto-deleted after 30 days
  • Revoke any time

Next: approve read-only access in Google. No card, no call.

— What it inspects

Every finding, and why it matters.

Wasted spend at search-term grain

Every search term that spent without converting, grouped by the pattern that produced it, so the fix is a negative list or a match-type change rather than a list of one-off exclusions.

Performance Max cannibalization

Whether PMax is absorbing branded and existing-customer demand that Search would have captured anyway. This is the single most common reason a reported ROAS looks strong while revenue is flat.

Conversion tracking integrity

Duplicate conversion actions, actions counted as primary that should be secondary, missing value data, and attribution windows that quietly inflate reported performance.

Smart Bidding readiness

Conversion volume per campaign against the threshold each bid strategy actually needs, plus target settings that are mathematically unreachable given current conversion rates.

Shopping feed and product coverage

Products taking spend but never converting, disapprovals suppressing eligible inventory, and the share of the catalog that has never served an impression.

Structural waste

Overlapping keywords competing against each other, ad groups with no active ads, geo and schedule settings inherited from a launch that ended two years ago, and budget capped on campaigns that are profitable.

Headroom, not just faults

Where impression share is lost to budget rather than rank, which is the difference between an account that needs fixing and one that needs funding.

— What it cannot tell you

What it cannot see: anything outside the ad account. If your conversion tracking under-reports, the audit inherits that under-reporting — it will flag the tracking fault, but it cannot reconstruct the true numbers without your commerce or CRM data. It also cannot judge creative quality on Search, because there is very little creative to judge.

— Questions

Before you connect.

Is it actually free?

Yes, and there is no card, no trial, and no call required to receive it. We run audits because some people who run one eventually become clients and because it demonstrates the work better than a pitch does. If you read the report and never speak to us again, that is a normal outcome.

What access do you need?

Read-only, granted through the platform’s own OAuth screen. The scopes we request cannot change campaigns, cannot touch billing, and cannot see payment details. You can revoke access at any time from your own account settings, and the report you already have remains yours.

How long does it take?

About three minutes from granting access to a finished report. The form itself is three fields. Ninety days of account data is analyzed in that window, which is the part a manual audit spends five to ten hours on.

Is this different from the Google Ads recommendations tab?

Substantially. The recommendations tab optimizes for what Google can measure and, in places, for spend. It will suggest raising budgets and adopting broad match; it will not tell you that Performance Max is claiming credit for branded demand, that two of your conversion actions are counting the same event, or that a campaign should be turned off. Several of the findings in this audit are recommendations to spend less.

Does it work on Performance Max-only accounts?

Yes, and those accounts are often where it finds the most, because PMax hides its own structure. The audit reads asset-group and listing-group performance, checks brand exclusions, and separates new-customer from existing-customer conversions where the data allows — the three things the standard interface makes hardest to see.

What if my account is small?

It still runs, but be aware of what thin data does to conclusions. Below roughly a few hundred conversions in ninety days, most differences you see are noise rather than signal, and the audit says so rather than dressing up a coin flip as an insight.
